Don and Sylvia Shaw lost their daughter, Danielle, to melanoma. In response, the Shaws have become extremely active advocates for skin cancer education, prevention, and early detection. The Shaws have developed screening programs to enable beauticians to screen for cancer and created the You Can Make a Difference organization to facilitate their work.
